This certification system, endorsed by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), is tailored to food producers and is based on ISO 22000:2018, and ISO/TS 22002-1:2009, incorporating additional stipulations. GFSI has endorsed FSSC 22000 as a fully comparable system to IFS and BRC standards.
